About Me

I’m Mark Dredge and I write about beer (although I don't do it very often on this blog...). I've written five books about beer (and I'm currently writing the sixth) and I write for magazines and websites around the world, including Ferment. I even get to drink beer on TV and regularly feature on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch.

I mostly write about beer in terms of food and travel. In 2016 I won the British Guild of Beer Writers Beer and Travel Writer of the Year and Beer and Food Writer of the year (which I've also previously won in 2011, 2013 and 2014). Cooking with Beer won Best Food Writer from the North American Guild of Beer Writers.

As well as writing I do beer training and education, beer and food events, beer talks, beer consultancy and I've worked with Camden Town Brewery, Byron Hamburgers, Barworks, The Diner, Pint Shop, Pilsner Urquell, and more.
