About Me

I’m Mark Dredge and I write about beer. 

I've written four books and I write for magazines and websites around the world. My first book was published in April 2013. It's called Craft Beer World and it's a look at some of the best and most interesting beers in the world. My second book - Beer and Food - was published in May 2014 and looks at loads of different combinations of beer and food and how to best enjoy them together. My third book,  The Best Beer in the World, was published in autumn 2015 and is a series of travel stories in search of the greatest beers on the planet. My fourth book, Cooking with Beer, is a selection of over 65 different recipes all using beer in the cooking. In 2016 I won the British Guild of Beer Writers Beer and Travel Writer of the Year and Beer and Food Writer of the year (which I've previous won in 2011, 2013 and 2014). Cooking with Beer won Best Food Writer from the American Guild of Beer Writers.
