It's not meant to be a 100 IBU brew, more of a subtle thing, like the lager. As for marketing... they don't do any!

Try them again sometime.Mark Dredgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11421095862178324693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8717216232742676074.post-61241273211886220652011-06-16T11:28:31.552+01:002011-06-16T11:28:31.552+01:00The pale ale is a joke! tastes like its been hoppe...The pale ale is a joke! tastes like its been hopped with floor sweepings!

Camden is all about marketing.Don't believe the hype!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8717216232742676074.post-16046553289557217592011-01-30T18:28:42.872+00:002011-01-30T18:28:42.872+00:00Yeah, what a tidy little brew-kit! Nice to see a brew...What a great looking brewery!

Nice to see a brewery taking the plunge and brewing proper* lager and wheat beer. I think people forget that there are drinkers (some friends of mine i must confess) who like lager not because they havent 'discovered' ales and other beers, but simply because they enjoy the styles taste. There needs to be more companies like Camden Brewery and Brewdog who take on the lager drinkers direct with a quality product that tastes fantastic but is approachable to the masses.

It's too easy to brew a boring best bitter, a golden ale and a dark ale and call it job done while complaining about 'lager drinkers'. This gutsy approach is more akin to the American way of doing things and i think it's absolutely the right way to go.

Camden i commend you!

*Reluctant to use the word 'real' here. I'm not going to get in to that debate. Good beer, is good beer, regardless of method of dispense.Neil Wnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8717216232742676074.post-58955431961230262522011-01-25T10:56:41.156+00:002011-01-25T10:56:41.156+00:00That BrauKon kit is enough to send any homebrewer ...That BrauKon kit is enough to send any homebrewer weak at the knees. :P

BeerBirraBier.Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09280318504737098116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8717216232742676074.post-65101967191208378012011-01-25T10:11:45.359+00:002011-01-25T10:11:45.359+00:00I wondered who it was that was girlishly giggling ...I wondered who it was that was girlishly giggling while we were walking around, now I know!! :)Mark Dredgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11421095862178324693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8717216232742676074.post-24807456988488069992011-01-25T10:08:03.532+00:002011-01-25T10:08:03.532+00:00Camden Town Brewery is the type of operation that ...Camden Town Brewery is the type of operation that makes you giggle like a girl with excitement.
