Goes all gushy and repeats all the stuff that has been written 1000 times before, especially the stuff that Michael Jackson wrote 40 years ago,
Yawn.....Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07174074909246988617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8717216232742676074.post-30742664024627540912013-08-31T21:29:59.431+01:002013-08-31T21:29:59.431+01:00They also brew a subtle rauchbier called Stöffla a...They also brew a subtle rauchbier called Stöffla at the Drei Kronen in nearby Memmelsdorf. It's a shame Greifenklau was closed, as not only is their beer rather good, but there's a lovely shady beer garden at the back of the pub with views across the valley to Altenburg Castle.

I've yet to try beers from Kaiserdom; Bamberg's largest brewery, but situated out in the suburb of Gaustadt. The Kaiserdom-Brauereigasthof & Hotel closes during weekday afternoons, as we found to our cost when we journey out there!

Cafe Abseits proved a real gem of a find though, when we were passing through the city back in July.
