A great story will never make a bad beer become a great one, but it certainly can allow some wiggle room. What is even more important in my eyes is story behind when you tasted the beer. The tasting experience is powerful. I've had some world-class brews alone at home that haven't fulfilled that beer geek passion like some more mediocre beers did because they had that "when I tasted that" story attached to them.<br /><br />anyways, yes.
